A run in with the FBI

28 Jun

So it should come as no surprise to anyone that growing up i was a trouble maker. In fact, some might even go as far to say that is an understatement. I definitely put my parents through hell and back. So this next story, too, should come as no surprise. My run in with the FBI when I was 12.

I can say with 100% certainty that I was just a bystander to this awful debacle. Yet some how I was seen as an accomplice. It all dates back to the beginning of middle school, when our very own entrepreneur, Marc David, started selling candy and soda out of his locker. He was the go to for all the goods. This Weekend…

There’s a lot that I can say about this weekend–but just out of common decency for myself and those involved I’ll keep it brief and discreet. Erin Humphrey, thanks for lending me the ever so awesome, friendly, interesting place to do my work: Paramount Studios.

I have always been over dramatic. A tiny sniffle, I have pneumonia. A headache, I have a brain aneurysm. A weird freckle appears, it’s skin cancer. So when I caught wind of WebMD symptom checker it was only a matter of time when I was going to start self-diagnosing myself.

My Life In A Nutshell

I believe myself to be infatuated with everything social media, so I am surprised it has taken me this long to start a blog. I don’t intend on it being anything fancy like Perez Hilton or Cupcakes and Cashmere. But it definitely will be a way for me to connect myself to one more portal of social media.

I can say that social media and the move over to digital has been something I have been “obsessed” with since the beginning. Back in the days when AOL was new and chat rooms were still safe, I was that 12 year old girl who would spend her casual leisure time chatting with strangers whom she’d never meet.

I can’t say that spending my time in doors chatting with strangers didn’t get me in trouble. You’d think, what’s the worst that can happen? A couple of lies never hurt anyone. I wasn’t going out drinking and partying like some… there’s no way…. Well, let’s just say it did the exact opposite. Continue reading
